Yoshihiro Tani is the strategic key account manager for global account in DWPS.. In this role, Yoshihiro will be responsible for all Organo business and serve as the global focal point.
Yoshihiro joined Rohm and Hass in 2006 as a sales manager covering process solutions. He started as a food and pharmaceutical specialist in the first year, and later extended his responsibility to the entire process solution area as well as adding an additional responsibility in the specialty chemical business - hydrogen-borohydride and primary amine. In this 4 years, he has achieved record double-digit sales growth by forming a unique tech-sales group with the Soma tech team that captured market share from the competition. During the fourth quarter of 2010, he expanded his area of responsibility to water, specifically in the power segment, that contributed largely to the success of DW&PS sales in 2010.
His previous job experience includes working as a process engineer for a chemical engineering company (JGC) and as a sales/marketing manager in a specialty chemical company, Sigma-Aldrich Co.. Yoshihiro has a B.S. and M.Sc. in physical chemistry from Kyoto University.
