VORANOL™ 446 Polyol

A neutralized, 4.5 functional, low viscosity, sucrose/glycerine initiated polyether polyol designed for the production of isocyanate prepolymers and rigid polyurethane foams. The versatility offered by this polyol provides a product suitable for many high and low density applications. It can be used alone, or in combination with other polyols or fire retardant agents, to achieve various desired properties. It is especially suitable for foam applications that require excellent flowability, high strength-to density ratios, and low abrasion levels. Additionally, the need for extra storage may be reduced since it can be used in the preparation of both isocyanate and polyol formulations. The low basicity offered by the neutralized it allows the preparation of stable TDI prepolymers. Typical applications include appliance insulation, insulated panels, refrigerated transportation vehicles, portable coolers, pour-in-place insulation, marine floatation, polyol blends.
