PRIMAL™ BARR 130

Acrylic Barrier Coating Emulsion for Paper and Paperboard Applications

Uses:

  • Designed for use in paper and board coatings offering oil and grease barrier properties combined with block resistance and flexibility. It has been developed to be applied by most common aqueous coating or printing methods. Good performance can be achieved by using binder-rich coating formulations in applications where fatty acid resistance is important.

Benefits:

  • Facilitates barrier to hot oil, grease and blends of fatty acids
  • Good resistance to hot block
  • Good stability when blended with inorganic pigments such as clay, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide and talc
  • Good stability when blended with water soluble polymers such as starch, PVOH or rheology modifiers
  • Heat sealable
