Pushing the limits of design: DuPont™ Surlyn® 3D Overmolding Technology
Inspired by the unlimited design variation possibilities of DuPont™ Surlyn® 3D overmolding technology, C.H. Plastic, a customer-oriented and creative fragrance and cosmetic packaging manufacturer, has launched a new technology on the overmolding of glass with DuPont™ Surlyn® resins. Containers with DuPont™ Surlyn® 3D overmolding, developed after three years of research, provide crystal transparency and increased safety and convenience for consumers with its light-weight, unbreakable and scratch-resistant features.

Features of the glass container overmolded with DuPont™ Surlyn® 3D resin:
- Thick-wall outer shell brings a pure sparkling crystal appearance, with no risk of breakage for greater consumer safety.
- A transparent, smooth surface creates a magnifying effect on the colored/decorated glass insert beneath it.
- The use of a glass insert helps retain the overall luxurious sense of weight as well as ensures high chemical compatibility with the content’s ingredient.
