Dow Employees Receive Honors at 29th Annual HENAAC Conference

Two Dow employees were honored with awards at the 29th Annual HENAAC Conference in Pasadena, CA. HENAAC applauds Great Minds in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) during this event which brings together thousands of individuals from the entire STEM education and workforce sector to celebrate the incredible technical achievements of our nation’s top engineering and science talent! The Great Minds in STEM™ vision is to be a national leader in keeping America technologically strong by promoting STEM careers, especially in underserved communities.

As the nation’s most prestigious stage for honoring excellence and building networks, the HENAAC Conference is the place where thousands of the finest minds from top executives and innovative professionals, to the brightest STEM students convene.



Dr. André Argenton, Global R&D Director for Performance Materials and Chemicals, was named the recipient of the 29th annual HENAAC Awards in the Professional Achievement II category.

Monica Sorribas, Global Crop Protection R&D Director for Dow AgroSciences, was named the recipient of the 29th annual HENAAC Awards in the Outstanding Technical Achievement category.

In addition to honoring these great minds, the HENAAC Conference connects educators to STEM innovations through the K-12 Educators Institute where over 400 middle and high school students complete the Viva Technology™ Program. Within the last 13 years, this program has reached over 100,000 students, parents and teachers in 18 states and the District of Columbia.
