Dow to Exhibit at Formnext 2018 with German RepRap in Hall 3.1 Booth D40 - November 13-16
Join us at Formnext and discover how Dow brings the power and versatility of silicones into the realm of 3D printing. Dow Silicones supplies LC3335, a liquid silicone rubber (LSR) from the EVOLV3D™ portfolio, a material with a hardness of 50 Shore A and mechanical properties when printed which are very similar to those when molded. The L280 3D printer can produce functional parts with mechanical properties comparable to those formed via an injection molding process. Two L280 machines will illustrate the new LAM technology revolution (patent pending) to visitors, which is already inspiring many companies to re-examine their production process, thanks to the potential time and cost savings available through this new technology in all areas where silicone products are used. This material will be printed on the L280, the first commercial 3D printer of the LAM series.
