AMBERLITE™ Ion Exchange Resins and Polymeric Adsorbents

AMBERLITE™ Ion Exchange Resins and Polymeric Adsorbents are available in a very wide range of chemical compositions and polymer structures and have been used for decades in a high-value applications including water treatment in industrial and power generation plants, drinking water, food processing, chemical processing, bioprocessing, and pharmaceutical formulations.


AMBERLITE™ IRN160 Ion Exchange Resin is a stoichiometric equivalent mixture of nuclear-grade, uniform particle size, gel, strong acid cation and strong base anion exchange resins, supplied in the H+/OH- forms. AMBERLITE IRN160 mixed bed resin is designed for use in PWR primary coolant, radwaste, CANDU moderator, and BWR deep bed condensate polishing applications. The resin combines the properties of high capacity with excellent resistance to bead fracture from attrition and osmotic shock. The less separating properties of this resin make it easily transferable from one location to another, helping to eliminate the formation of a cation layer at the bottom of the service vessel.
