PuraGuard™ Propylene Glycol USP/EP
PuraGuard™ Propylene Glycol USP/EP is an excellent extraction aid and carrier for flavors, colors and enzymes, which helps food stay colorful and tasty. It also enables the extraction of natural flavoring materials, for example the extraction of vanilla from vanilla beans.
PuraGuard™ Propylene Glycol USP/EP also helps to prevent moisture migration in bakery, increases the shelf life at ambient temperature, and minimizes the development of so-called “sucrose hydrates” in icings by controlling the water activity
VERSENE™ CA is a chelating agent and effectively controls copper and iron traces under food processing conditions by deactivating problem metals. This means the metals cannot react with ingredients and cause product degradation such as color loss in beverages, development of off-flavors of canned vegetables or fish and rancidity of mayonnaise.
