Dow’s WALOCEL™ stabilizer is an excellent water-soluble thickener. Our WALOCEL™ stabilizer are used in a wide variety of food products — from beverages to sauces and bakery products — where they help food products reach a target viscosity and mouthfeel, bind water and retain moistness during shelf life.

WALOCEL™ is available in a large range of viscosities which enables it to be used in many applications to enhance the texture, creaminess and water retention of products even in high sugar formulations. In low sugar formulations it will replace the mouthfeel normally provided by the sugar, giving a good drinking texture to low sugar drinks for example.
