Dow Electronic Materials - Customers (Phase 2)
Dear Valued Customer,
Per the communication you received in May 2017, The Dow Chemical Company has been actively working to build a separate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system environment solely for the use by the Dow Electronic Materials Business. The completion of the Dow Electronic Materials transition into the separate environment is planned for August 2, 2017, and will result in a shipping holiday through the transition period. Please Note: While the planned Dow-DuPont merger is anticipated to close in August, the dates in this communication are not related to or indicative of the timing of the planned merger.
ACTION REQUIRED Before August
You will need to make changes to your system and records prior to August 2, 2017, based on the updated information.
- There will be changes to the following: legal entity names, mailing addresses, tax ID #s and VAT #s. Please refer to the website www.DowElectronicMaterialsERP.com for your specific details, including remit to information.
- Dow will initiate a shipping holiday period for a time prior to Go-Live. This period will begin on Saturday, July 29, 2017, through Wednesday, August 2, 2017. During this time Dow systems will not be available to perform the usual shipping operations. Your Customer Service representative will contact you to schedule shipments accordingly during this period if necessary.
