Katsuhiro (Kenny) Ogawa is the President for Dow in Southeast Asia and is responsible for the company’s strategic growth and reputation in the region. Kenny provides leadership oversight for the company’s business portfolio and drives business development with a strong focus on growth projects.
Kenny began his career with Dow in 1990 in Japan and had since then, held various roles across different businesses including Performance Chemicals, Polystyrene, Epoxy, Polyethylene, Polyolefin Plastomers, Copolymers and LDPE, Solution Polyethylene, and Elastomers. These portfolios in commercial sales have taken him around the Asia Pacific and Europe. In 2013, Kenny was appointed Commercial Director to lead the implementation of the Sadara investment, the Dow-Saudi Aramco joint venture for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
Prior to the current role, Kenny was the President Director for Dow in Indonesia for two years where he was responsible to drive the company’s strategy and business in one of the company’s key growth countries in Southeast Asia.
Kenny holds a Law degree from the Kansai University in Japan, and Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin. He is married and is based in Singapore.
