Schedule: Full-time

Job Number: 1808279

Do you want to help redefine the role of business in society?  The Materials Science Division is seeking U.S. based interns for the MBA Business Sustainability Program. This program offers current MBA students an opportunity to harness their passion for sustainability in business, learn from industry leaders and make a tangible impact on business success. Interns work directly in the Materials Science Division to uncover and accelerate opportunities that enable more sustainable solutions to market and/or build brand or product value through sustainability.
A key objective of the program is to deliver an exceptional internship experience for MBA students who can bring new ideas and insights to the opportunities and challenges facing the Materials Science business division. Ultimately, the program develops a powerful employment pipeline of future leaders with an appreciation for integrating sustainability into business development and management decisions.
Summer interns will be deployed against significant business projects at the intersection of business and sustainability.  Projects are typically in the following areas: strategy development, market analysis, financial and technical modeling, product evaluations, and/or other marketing options. The 2019 internship projects have not yet to be determined, but will align with the Materials Science Division market-focused strategy and will complement the student's prior experiences and background. Projects involve work with a cross-section of technical and non-technical disciplines across geographies. Interns will also have the unique opportunity to receive mentorship from the Materials Science Division leadership and Sustainability Team.

  • Keen desire to promote sustainable business practices
  • Currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration degree
  • Ability to work legally in the United States -- no visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Previous sustainability, business development, and/or international experience is desirable, but not required.
