Dow to present a new webinar on successful sealing of facade transitions

Midland, Mich. – September 21, 2020 – With energy regulations and climate policy targets establishing strict requirements for the construction of future buildings, selecting the most effective and a compatible system for controlling the presence of water, water vapor and achieving airtight transition seals in ventilated facades, curtain walls and window perimeter systems, can be a complex decision.

To this end, Dow is pleased to offer an invitation to attend our webinar, which will examine how buildings can be affected by water migration due to factors such as local climate and internal heating and cooling systems, all of which can contribute to excess and damaging condensation inside a structure. The webinar will review how this may be controlled in various façade designs with proper specification and application of interior and exterior EPDM membranes.

Join Stanley Yee, Façade Design and Construction Scientist at Dow, who will present ‘A compatible system for sealing façade transitions – the DOWSIL™ Membrane Façade System’ live at the following time:

Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm Central European Time (CET)
Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 4:00 pm Gulf Standard Time (GST)

Participants are invited to register online. For more information about Dow’s technologies for waterproofing and water vapor control layers for buildings, please visit dow.com/membranes.
