High-performance Halogen-free FR DFDA-1643

DFDA-1643 PE compound is a natural-colored compound for use as a jacketing material for halogen-free flame retardant building, instrument, shipboard and data cables with a continuous-use temperature rating of up to 90°C. DFDA-1643 features a combination of high tear strength, high tensile strength and elongation and excellent low-temperature brittleness resistance. DFDA-1643 PE compound shows excellent wet electricals and good resistance against crease whitening during bending. These properties are achieved while maintaining a high level of flame retardance and flexibility, good low-temperature properties, and dielectric properties that are better than those observed in conventional materials based on ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), with significant cost advantages.
