VERSENE™ Powder is spray dried EDTANa4. EDTA is highly effective chelant used to remove problematic metal ions from systems. The product is an off-white free flowing powder with a minimum chelant concentration of 86%. It contains approximately two molecules of water of crystallization per EDTA molecule. Spray drying produces a powder directly from atomized droplets of liquid, by flash evaporation, and as a result it contains all the components the liquid does except most of the water.
VERSENE™ Powder may be the product of choice for a customer who is formulating a solid product by blending powders or who finds that a powder is more cost effective because it is easier to transport and handle. Key market sectors include detergent manufacturers, oil field, water treatment and other industrial processes.
