Dow Increases Prices for Vinyl Acetate Monomer in All Regions
New Facility Will Produce STYROFOAM Brand Insulation Boards For The Building Industry

Midland, MI - December 17, 2007

The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow” ) announced today that it will increase off-list selling prices for Vinyl Acetate Monomer in Latin America by US$100 per metric ton; in Asia Pacific by US$100 per metric ton; in Europe by 100 Euros per metric ton; in the Middle East/Africa by US$100 per metric ton. In the United States and Canada, list and off-list prices will increase by $0.05 per pound. This increase will become effective on January 1, 2008.
