Dow Announces a Price Increase for Vinyl Acetate Monomer in All Regions

Midland, MI - June 27, 2006

Dow will increase selling prices in Latin America by US$60 per metric ton; in Asia Pacific by US$60 per metric ton; in Europe by 50 Euros per metric ton; in the Middle East/Africa by US$60 per metric ton and in the United States and Canada by $0.03 per pound, or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms, effective July 15, 2006.
