Dow Announces Price Increase for Vinyl Acetate Monomer in All Regions

The Dow Chemical Company has announced a price increase for vinyl acetate monomer in all regions of the world, effective March 1, 2005. Dow will increase selling prices in Latin America by US$100 per metric ton; in Asia Pacific by US$100 per metric ton; in Europe by 100 Euros per metric ton; in the Middle East/Africa by US$130 per metric ton; and in the U.S. and Canada by $0.04 per pound, or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms.
