Pete Pendergast

Peter Pendergast is global marketing manager for UCON™ Fluids and Lubricants and Low Temp Thermal Fluids businesses, for The Dow Chemical Company.

Pendergast joined Dow in 1990 as a commercial development representative in Midland, Michigan. Later that year, he relocated to Chicago as an account manager in the Chemicals and Performance Chemicals business. In 1995, he accepted the position of market research specialist in the Chlor-Alkali business in Midland. Pendergast was named global market development manager for Fabricated Products in 1996, and in 2000, he became the North American marketing manager for Epoxy Products and Intermediates. Pendergast was appointed marketing manager for Dow’s Heat Transfer Fluids and DPO Business for the Americas in 2004. He was named to his current position in April 2005.

Pendergast holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University.
