Martin Greaves

Martin Greaves is technology leader for the UCON™ Fluids and Lubricants business of The Dow Chemical Company and is based in Freeport, Texas.

He joined Dow in 1997 leading lubricant product development in Europe at the company’s R&D center in Terneuzen, The Netherlands. He has also held positions in lubricant research in the U.K.

During the past 14 years, Greaves has been involved in the development of high performance synthetic lubricants. More recently, his work has centered on developments in polyalkylene glycol lubricant technology.

Greaves holds a Bachelor of Science degree and doctorate in chemistry from the University of Aston, U.K.
