Dow Sponsors 2015 National Lubricating Grease Institute Annual Meeting
Dow Showcases Performance Lubricants Expertise to Enable Formulators & Marketers
Midland, MI - June 04, 2015
Engaging a key opportunity to connect with grease formulators and marketers, the Performance Lubricants business of The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow”) will participate as a Gold Sponsor in the 2015 NLGI Annual Meeting in Coeur d’Alene, ID, June 6 - 9, where industry leaders from around the country gather to showcase and explore emerging lubrication technology.
Emerging market trends are imposing greater demands on each gallon of grease, and this shift requires a greater deal of collaboration and innovation in the industry in order to bring together the necessary competencies and capabilities to win. In May, the Dow Performance Lubricants business unveiled at the 2015 STLE Annual Meeting in Dallas a new strategy to enable lubricant formulators and marketers to address these growing market demands.
“Our fundamental desire when connecting with formulators and marketers is to listen, understand, and deliver,” said Christine Walker, market segment manager for Dow Performance Lubricants. “Conferences like this present an exciting opportunity to hear their challenges and identify how Dow’s core competencies can enable them to enhance their next generation greases.”
Dow’s sponsorship makes possible “Meeting Central” at the 2015 NLGI Annual Meeting, enabling the conversations that lead to improved collaboration.
Dow representatives look forward to sharing successes in grease developments with Dow’s PAG (polyalkylene glycol) technology, including recent automotive innovations in NASCAR® with Richard Childress Racing™.
