Retiree Information Services

Carbide Retiree Corps (CRC) is an exciting opportunity for retirees. The CRC includes over 100 clubs nationwide. The purpose of CRC is to bring together retirees and former Union Carbide employees and their spouses for fellowship and service to the community. There are several clubs in this area including the Teays Valley, Institute Maintenance, Institute Plant Maintenance Technology, and Carbide Oldtimers' Clubs. The Carbide Oldtimers' Club meets monthly on the third Tuesday at Christ Church United Methodist for dinner. In addition, they sponsor a bridge club, women and men golf leagues, and publish a monthly newsletter. There is also a picnic in September and a Christmas Party/Dance in December. From time to time clubs participate in projects to help community service agencies such as United Way and Salvation Army. For more information on Dow retiree services, please visit Dow Friends.
