No Detectable Ethyl Acrylate in Tank at Site in Hahnville
Hahnville, LA - July 08, 2009
As of 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, St. Charles Operations communicated with the St. Charles Parish Dept. of Emergency Preparedness that there is no longer detectable Ethyl Acrylate in the tank, which was the source of an odor release on Tuesday, July 7. Site personnel have established that it is now safe to remove the remaining material from the tank. The data continues to reinforce that there is no threat to the public.
