As Hahnville High School's "Partner in Education," Dow's facility in St. Charles Parish (St. Charles Operations) sponsored an annual Scholastic Excellence program recognizing academic achievement at Hahnville for the 19th consecutive year. During this reception, Dow formally recognizes those Hahnville High students from each class that had three consecutive straight "A" grading periods for the current school year. This year, a record number of 77 Hahnville students that reached this prestigious goal for the 2004-2005 school year. Besides the acknowledgment from their peers, parents and teachers, the recipients received gifts furnished by Dow to commemorate the occasion.
