UCAR Latex 379G UCAR™ Latex 379G is a high molecular weight vinyl-acrylic latex designed for architectural coatings where maximum scrub resistance and exterior durability are of primary importance. It can be used effectively in a wide variety of interior and exterior formulations. UCAR Latex 379G does not contain added formaldehyde and has low residual monomer, making it the perfect choice for today's environmentally friendly paints. Efficient pigment binding is provided in paints formulated over a wide range of pigment volume concentrations, yielding good hiding and gloss in semigloss finishes and stain resistance in flats. UCAR Latex 379G has shown excellent thickening efficiency in both cellulosic and associative thickened systems.
