UCAR Latex 162 UCAR™ Latex 162 is a high-acrylate, vinyl acrylic copolymer latex that can be formulated into caulks that are not required to pass the low temperature flexibility standard of the ASTM C-834 Specification. This performance level is typical of interior grade caulks designed for use by the paint contractor and "Do-It-Yourselfer," and in exterior caulks used in mild climates where the degree of joint movement is low.
