NEOCAR Acrylic 820 NEOCAR™ Acrylic 820 is an ultra-small particle size, hydrophobic latex designed for use in a variety of applications. This versatile latex provides outstanding water resistance when formulated into clear sealers, semi-transparent and solid color stains, as well as paints applied over wood and cementitious substrates. The superior hydrophobicity of NEOCAR Acrylic 820 results in outstanding water and blush resistance. In a properly formulated coating there is no whitening of the dry film when exposed to water. In addition, the polymer has excellent hydrolytic stability that allows for efflorescence resistance over high pH substrate surfaces such as fresh concrete.
