UCAR Emulsion Systems (UES) develops, manufactures, and sells UCAR™ acrylic, vinyl acrylic and styrene acrylic latexes branched vinyl ester NEOCAR™ latexes, and ethylene-modified EVOCAR™ latexes. These products are used in the architectural coatings, adhesives, construction products, industrial coatings, textile, and paper markets.

UES also produces and markets complementary UCAR POLYPHOBE™ Rheology Modifiers and sells CELLOSIZE™ Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC). Both of these product lines enhance the performance of a broad range of coatings.
