UCAR Latex 9192 UCAR™ Latex 9192 is a high solids, all-acrylic binder for "true clear" sealant applications. This polymer offers excellent clarity and resistance to yellowing upon aging. UCAR 9192 features the following performance characteristics:
- Meets requirements of a "true clear" sealant as well as those required for a pigmented C 834 caulk
- Self-thickening mechanism that requires little to no additional thickener
- Excellent balance of high solids and low viscosity that makes product very "plant friendly"
- Minimum shrinkage, quick to dry, with very low surface tack upon application
- Improved clarity, sealant volume solids, water resistance properties
UCAR Latex 9192 allows formulators to reduce the number of raw materials in their formulations, which reduces the cost.
