UCAR Latex 9191 UCAR™ Latex 9191 is a tackified, waterborne pressure sensitive adhesive designed to be used for general-purpose labels. It is formulated to be applied with a variety of coaters on various substrates. UCAR Latex 9191 features the following performance characteristics:
- Excellent balance of peel, tack, and cohesive strength
- Outstanding adhesion to corrugated boxboard
- Wetting of low-energy surfaces like corona-treated polyolefins
- Low foaming when applied under high line speed conditions
- Excellent flow and leveling
- Conformance to FDA 21CFR175.105
- Excellent converting properties
These features make UCAR Latex 9191 useful for applications ranging from EDP labels and general-purpose permanent labels to specialty sheet-fed labels.
