UCAR Latex 9189 UCAR™ Latex 9189 is a coater-ready, inherently pressure-sensitive acrylic copolymer emulsion product that forms a remarkably clear dry film. It features the following performance characteristics:
- Good clarity and water whiteness on clear face stocks
- Excellent balance of peel, tack, and cohesive strength
- Superior adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces
- Excellent flow and leveling
- Conformance to FDA 21CFR175.105
- Easily applied by reverse gravure or Mayer Rod coaters
- High line speed capability
- Good response to tackifiers
UCAR Latex 9189 can be formulated for use in general-purpose film and paper label applications. By formulating with tackifiers, this product can be modified to meet the varied peel and tack requirements of a wide range of label applications.
