UCAR Latex 657
UCAR™ Latex 657 is a high solids, all-acrylic latex designed to be the building block for all your acrylic product line needs. This product has been designed without any wet adhesion chemistry, allowing the formulator the ability to blend in the optimized level of wet adhesion using UCAR “Booster” latexes.
Recommended for use in interior wall paints, UCAR Latex 657 shows excellent stain resistance, washability, and alkali resistance over masonry substrates. When used as the sole latex for interior flats, outstanding washability and color retention can be achieved. When blended with UCAR “Booster” latexes, UCAR Latex 657 gives good wet adhesion for interior kitchen/bath applications.
UCAR Latex 657 also exhibits outstanding performance in exterior applications. Exterior exposures have shown that this product blended with UCAR “Booster” latexes results in excellent exterior durability.
