UCAR Emulsion Systems and Monomers Announces Price Increase
for Latex and Rheology Modifier Products
Cary, NC (August 27, 2009) Effective September 15, 2009 or
as contracts allow, UCAR™ Emulsion Systems and Monomers will be
increasing pricing on all latex and rheology modifier products. UCAR
acrylic, styrene-acrylic, styrene-butadiene and NEOCAR™ Acrylic
latexes and UCAR Polyphobe™ Thickeners will increase by $0.06 per
wet pound. UCAR vinyl-acrylic, vinyl acetate-ethylene and NEOCAR
Latexes will increase by $0.02 per wet pound.
This action is necessary due to recent increases in the cost of key
raw materials used to produce these products.
