Michigan Tour Schedule & Locations
TRANSCAER® (Transportation Community Awareness and Emergency Response) Training Tours are coming back to Michigan in June and July, 2009. The 2009 tours are sponsored by The Dow Chemical Company who has teamed up with the CN Railroad, Marquette Railroad, Huron Eastern Railroad, Transport Service Company, CHEMTREC and many other local supporting agencies. TRANSCAER is dedicated to educating emergency responders and their communities and include safety training cars from the Firefighters Education and Training Foundation.
As part of the TRANSCAER® emergency preparedness training for local and regional emergency response organizations and personnel, community leaders are also welcome to attend the sessions to learn how they can elevate their assistance and communications to the community.
Training is a one day session and free of charge to all participants. Please note some cities below offer multiple days to choose from for your training date preference.
