In 2008 the Dow Chemical Company was acknowledged externally for it’s involvement with TRANSCAER. As a result of Dow’s commitment to safety and security, Dow earned the 2007 TRANSCAER National Achievement Award for extraordinary support of the TRANSCAER principles. The award was accepted by Dave Kepler, executive vice president and chief sustainability officer, on Thursday, May 22 in Midland, MI.
