The 2008 Gulf Coast TRANSCAER Tour, a 10 city training tour, began in Alexandria, LA on April 9th traveling up the Mississippi River ending in Chicago, IL on May 8th. The tour was host to over 550 participants.
The 2008 TRANSCAER Training Tour included stops in Alexandria, LA; Monroe, LA; Pine Bluff, AR; Little Rock, AR; Poplar Bluff, MO; West Frankfort, IL; Salem, IL; Villa Grove, IL; Chicago, IL (May 5 & 6) and West Chicago, IL.
During the Chicago stop of the tour, a dedication ceremony was held to honor Chicago’s late Fire Chief, John Eversole for his lifelong dedication to public service, safety and security. Read more.
