UCAR solution vinyl resins come in a range of molecular weights. Various functional groups provide properties such as specific adhesion, crosslinking capability, compatibility with other generic resins, and pigment dispersion qualities. All UCAR solution vinyl resins have a unique combination of solvent, chemical, and stain resistance combined with hardness and flexibility.

Specific UCAR solution vinyl resins are FDA approved for use in food-contact applications such as can, paper, film and foil coatings, and coatings for closures.
