Natural / Organic Sun Protection Products

ZinClear™ IM 50CCT is the ideal UV filter for products where an "all natural" claim is important.  In the past, creating a "natural" or "organic" product that included UV protection has been very difficult due to the synthetic nature of liquid / crystalline UV filters or the extensive particle engineering of nano-size inorganic particles.  ZinClear™ IM 50CCT has been recognized by ECOCERT as an ingredient of "natural origin".

Beach Wear

Whether you're looking to formulate a beach wear product in lotion, cream, stick or spray form, ZinClear™ IM and SolTerra Boost products are an ideal combination to help you achieve full-spectrum UV coverage without the need for heavy, sticky, oily and tacky organic UV filters.  The outstanding transparency of ZinClear™ IM will ensure that beach formulas go on clear, even at concentrations of 20% and higher, without the whitening associated with inorganic sunscreens.  ZinClear IM offers excellent ease-of-use -- since the products come pre-dispersed, they can be simply added to your oil phase with good mixing.  And, zinc oxide has been recognized for its safety on the skin for over 300 years.

With SolTerra Boost, it is now possible to meet your SPF and UVA targets with all-zinc oxide or all-inorganic formulations.  SolTerra Boost can increase the SPF rating of your formulation by up to 100 percent. 

Daily Wear

ZinClear™ IM products are ideal for products like facial moisturizers and body lotions.  They provide the full-spectrum coverage necessary to help protect from the sun's rays, while at the same time offering outstanding transparency over other zinc oxide and titanium dioxide products.  That means no whitening on the skin, even at zinc oxide concentrations of 20% or higher! ZinClear™ IM products are dispersed in a variety of carrier fluids to help you tailor yourformulations to consumers' aesthetic preferences, from lightweight moisturizers to rich, hydrating creams.

SolTerra Boost can also help reduce the load rate of UV absorbers while maintaining a high SPF, an ideal combination for daily wear formulations where good aesthetics are important.

Color Cosmetics

Adding ZinClear™ IM products to color cosmetics such as foundation and lipsticks is another excellent way to help your customers incorporate additional UV protection into their daily routines.  ZinClear™ IM zinc oxide dispersions provide that added level of UVA coverage to color cosmetic products that consumers demand. With its dry, velvety texture on the skin, ZinClear™ IM 55L7 is an excellent solution for liquid foundation products.
