incorporates polykraft facings that provide puncture
and chemical resistance.
STYROFOAM RECOVERMATE CR is an extruded polystyrene foam insulation board with square edges. Poly-coated Kraft facers make STYROFOAM RECOVERMATE CR compatible with plasticized membranes. Designed for installation over an existing roofing membrane in roof recovery applications with a new ballasted or light-colored mechanically attached sheet membrane.

Meets IBC/IRC requirements for foam plastic insulation. See NES NER 699. Factory Mutual Approved® Subject to the conditions of Approval as a roof insulation when installed as described in the current edition of the FM Approval Guide.

† † Vertical compressive strength is measured at 10% deformation (5% for STYROFOAM PLAZAMATE insulation and for STYROFOAM HIGHLOAD 40, 60 and 100 insulation products) or at yield, whichever occurs first. Since STYROFOAM extruded polystyrene and Dow polyisocyanurate insulation products are visco-elastic materials, adequate design safety factors should be used to prevent long-term creep. For static loads, 3-1 is suggested. For dynamic loads, 5-1 is suggested.
