Buildings with steep slope roofs are covered by a wide variety of materials, including shingles, slate, mechanically fastened metal membranes and many other types of protective covering. And the undersides of steep slope roofs also differ: some are wood, some are metal decks. And what about the layer in between? That's where the insulation comes in - and that's where Dow Building Materials† offers you the variety and high performance you need to get the job done right. Dow offers an extensive collection of insulation products to meet virtually any need in steep slope roof applications. Insulation products from Dow offer high R-value, high compressive strength, durability and ease of use. Taping the joints of STYROFOAM™ DECKMATE™ Plus or THERMAX™ sheathing will provide a temporary seal, allowing contractors to start interior work before the standing seam roof is installed. THERMAX Sheathing offers high R-value and has numerous uses and full assemblies using a 26 gauge deck. Contact your Dow Sales representative for more information.
