In this application, STYROFOAM™ RECOVERMATE™ CR is placed directly over the surface of the old roof, and functions as a separator layer between the old roof and the new, single ply roofing system. It maintains its integrity for the lifetime of the roofing system. Its compressive strength enables it to withstand the weight of ballast and pedestrian traffic. STYROFOAM RECOVERMATE CR is designed specifically for roof recovery applications and features superior compressive retention, which reduces the potential for membrane problems at fastener locations.

| High moisture resistance means the product will not deteriorate in the roof recovery environment. Superior compressive retention prevents fastener head exposure. Withstands temperatures to 165F. The specially designed facers allow the product to be used with PVC based membrane systems. |
