The TRYMER Family of Products

TRYMER™ polyisocyanurate foam is produced in both low and high index formulations for a variety of applications. Manufactured in bunstock lengths up to 24', TRYMER products are available in a range of densities and compressive strengths to meet exacting specifications and customer requirements. TRYMER products from Dow offer outstanding versatility and proven performance for panel, pultrusion, composite and thermal insulation applications. To learn more about a particular TRYMER product and its suitability for your application, select from the tables below. (Data shown are typical values obtained from representative samples. This data may be used as a guide for material selection or design purposes, but should not be construed as specifications.)

TRYMER Low Index Polyisocyanurate Foam

TRYMER™ L Series products feature a lower ratio of polyisocyanate to polyol (low index) than conventional polyisocyanurate foams. The low index composition creates less dusty foams with fewer voids and pockets, enabling ease of fabrication and improved handling and machinability, as well as improved strength properties. The smooth, uniform surface of TRYMER low index foams leads to better adhesion, dependable bonding and reduced resin waste. Due to the exceptional dimensional stability of TRYMER low index foams, they can be sculpted or carved into unique and complex shapes, and will hold their shape for repeated use as patterns and composite plugs.
