A high strength-to-weight ratio, superior dimensional stability, and the smooth, uniform surface of TRYMER core foams and STYROFOAM Panel Core make them ideal composite materials for stringers, decks, transoms, motor enclosures and hull plugs.
TRYMER polyisocyanurate foam is available in compressive strengths from 17 psi to 140 psi (117 kPa to 970 kPa) and densities from 1.65 pcf to 6 pcf (26.4 kg/m3 to 96 kg/m3).
The compressive strength of STYROFOAM Panel Core ranges from 20 psi to 60 psi (140 kPa to 410 kPa). The density range of STYROFOAM Panel Core is 1.5 pcf to 2.2 pcf (24 kg/m3 to 35 kg/m3).
