How to use INSTA-STIK MP Multi-Purpose

Before starting installation:

• Application and substrate temperature +5°C to +40°C.
• Wear protective gloves and eyewear.
• Surfaces, especially metal surfaces, must be free from oil and grease and should be dry.
• The structural integrity of the substrates must be proven before installation as well as the load-bearing capacity of the substrate (especially in wall application).

Curing time of INSTA-STIK™ MP Multi-Purpose depends on temperature and humidity conditions. Therefore it is recommended to test the specific curing time before application. In dry climate conditions curing time might be reduced by increasing air humidity, e.g. spraying of water to the foam beads.

The PU-spray gun can be cleaned with GREAT STUFF™ PRO Gun Gleaner from Dow. Remove any cured foam mechanically.

		Shake the INSTA-STIK MP Multi-Purpose can vigorously for about 30 seconds.
		Turn the INSTA-STIK MP  Multi-Purpose can upside down and screw it onto the valve of the PU  spray gun.
		Spray beads of INSTA-STIK MP Multi-Purpose onto the wall/floor or onto the insulation board.
		The insulation boards can  be pressed against  the substrate within approx. 10 minutes after applying INSTA-STIK MP Multi-Purpose.

Further recommendation when using INSTA-STIK MP:

• Keep the can upright during spraying.
• Shake the can occasionally when using INSTA-STIK MP Multi-Purpose for longer periods.
• When interrupting the application for long periods close the screw at the back of the gun to avoid accidentally releasing the foam.
• The curing time of the adhesive depends on air humidity: high air humidity results in shorter curing time.
