Chlorinated solvents deliver cleaning efficiency to surface treatment processes in a variety of industries, such as the dry cleaning and metal cleaning industry. Modified Alcohol Solvents
Dow has developed new cleaning solvents for surface cleaning applications. The DOWCLENE™ cleaning and degreasing agents are based on modified alcohol. These solvents show, in many cases, improved cleaning performance over hydrocarbon solvents and when used in appropriate cleaning machines may show similar cleaning results to those of chlorinated solvents.
