HS Marston has optimized parts cleaning with DOWCLENE™ Modified Alcohol Solvent and COMPLEASE™ Chemical Leasing

Intensive re-work, high costs as well as health, safety and environmental issues were reasons that HS Marston Aerospace Limited, a UTC Aerospace Systems company, took an in-depth look at their cleaning process for heat exchanger components. The company has optimised parts cleaning through the use of modified alcohol solvent and COMPLEASE™, the chemical leasing model from SAFECHEM.
Asphalt Analytics: Checklist for Risk Management Measures

Dow and SAFECHEM submitted an application for authorisation for the use of Trichloroethylene (TRI) as an extraction agent for bitumen in the asphalt industry. Users have to apply the described risk management measures in order to be covered by the authorisation.
