NEU-TRI L Trichloroethylene

NEU-TRI™ L Trichloroethylene solvent° is a specially stabilised grade of trichloroethylene that satisfies the specifications of the 2.BImSchV. (German implementation of the VOC directive). It has been tested by the BAM (Federal German Institute for Material Testing in Berlin), and found to be suitable for the degreasing of light metals such as zinc and aluminium. The special stabilisation of NEU-TRI L prevents it from reacting aggressively with oxygen molecules, water vapour, metallic particles and other contaminants that originate during metal processing. Degreasing can therefore take place effectively without corrosion, oxidation, discolouring or other damage to the metal surface.
NEU-TRI L dissolves oils, fats, waxes and other contaminants easily. Due to its comparatively low boiling point, it is particularly stable against the oils applied in metal processing. This property and its low heat of vaporisation make it an extremely cost-effective solvent for degreasing.
