DOWPER MC Perchloroethylene

DOWPER™ MC Perchloroethylene solvent contains a special inhibitor package which makes it ideally suited for heavy-duty applications.

• A relatively high vapour temperature helps to remove high melting waxes, oxidised or hardened grease and other contaminants from surfaces.
• The high volume of solvent vapour condensing on the surface of the metal parts maximises flushing and leads to optimum cleaning results.

DOWPER MC is stable for use in cleaning of light metals, including aluminium, formulated cutting oils and their additives, and against humidity.

• Suitable for drying porous metals where trapped moisture is difficult to remove.
• High stability is maintained throughout the operation and recovery through distillation.
• The evaporation characteristics helps metal surfaces to dry quickly and completely

DOWPER MC is not recommended for vapour cleaning of heat-sensitive components unless this is done under reduced pressure to lower temperature, or textile dry cleaning.
