Chemical Leasing within the SAFECHEM Business Model

Driven by customer demand and guided by Product Stewardship Principles, SAFECHEM has realised the importance of offering more than just chemicals. Our customers require expertise and knowledge on best practices to help comply with legislation, optimise the use of chemicals and minimize emissions. Therefore, SAFECHEM's business model is based on selling a combination of chemicals and services, also called Chemical Product Services (CPS). These types of business models are considered a best practice in risk management, while enabling the customer to profit from the best solution. Chemical leasing is an innovative approach within this service-orientation taking the focus on product performance one step further. SAFECHEM recently participated in a chemical leasing pilot programme for metal cleaning in the automotive industry in Austria.
