SAFECHEM Europe GmbH received a Certificate of Merit from the European Solvent Industry Group (ESIG)

SAFECHEM Europe GmbH received a Certificate of Merit from the European Solvent Industry Group (ESIG) as part of its Solvent Stewardship Awards 2002. The award was presented to companies that were best able to demonstrate significant and cost-effective health, safety and environmental improvements in the use of solvents.

SAFECHEM took part in a combined project with Busak+Shamban, leading supplier of high-quality products and solutions for industrial sealing and bearing systems and C.K. Walther GmbH, manufacturer of quick couplings systems for all major industries. The three companies were able to successfully demonstrate how in the closed-loop SAFE-TAINER™ system, the clean break coupling when applied with the special sealing material, ensures a safe and sustainable use of solvent, without the risk of emission or spills.
